Our Wines

This cider is made from organically grown apples from Live Earth Farm in Watsonville, California. It is inspired by the ciders of Spain. Aromas of blackberry, pomegranate and crushed black pepper are followed by notes of dried orange peel, tarragon and rich earth. The medium bodied mouth shows a juicy blackberry character along with minerality and a slight tension from moderate tannins. One barrel, 25 cases, produced.


The nose opens with aromas of white pepper and mint before leading into deeper notes of smoked meats, thyme and minerals. The texture is full bodied with taut tannins, minerality and a slight smokiness on the lingering finish. One barrel, 25 cases, produced.


La Grava is a Bordeaux inspired blend named after the pebbly soils of our Cedar Lane Vineyard. Half Merlot and a quarter each of Syrah and Grenache were harvested and fermented together. A another delicious mouthwatering vintage of our Albarino from Cedar Lane Vineyard. Along with the usual citrus and stone fruit aromas this one shows great minerality and and a wonderful mouthwatering finish.


This Chardonnay was made in an elegant style with a medium-light body that highlights the limited oak influence, lingering acidity and minerality. It delivers a broad range of aromas including green apple, papaya, lemon curd and hints of vanilla. The palate is supple and smooth with a long gentle finish. 110 cases produced in 2014.



Chesebro 2013 Las Arenas (Arroyo Seco). Black raspberry, blackberry, lavender and pepper show on the deeply purple nose of this blend of 67% Grenache and 33% Syrah. Dense black fruit shows first on the palate, followed by a zesty explosion of acidity, flowery spices and cola. —M.K.  


A classically aromatic and delicate Pinot Noir which is very typical of Cedar Lane Vineyard. Bright red fruit aromas with a touch of rich earth and spice notes prevail in the nose. The mouth is spicy with great balancing acidity. 98 cases produced in 2013.


Mission Pinot Noir always explores the dark side of this unique grape. Aromas of rich earth and herbs mingle with those of dark fruits such as currants and blackberries. Full bodied for a Pinot Noir, the flavors tend to lean toward earthiness and minerality. There is a richness without any overripe character that both subtle and persistent through the long finish. 

Wild sage, rosemary, cedar incense, mulberry and minty aromas preface this very meaty complex wine. Densely layered, this blend of Syrah, Grenache and Mourvedre reveals flavors of plum jam, smoked meat with orange peel and tarragon, along with blueberry jam. A very complex and deeply aromatic wine that satisfies on every level. 80% Syrah, 15% Grenache and 5% Mourvedre. 163 cases produced in 2010.
